Labrador Duo Notice Another Breed, Hysterics at Response: ‘Judging So Hard’

In a viral video, a pair of Labrador retrievers can’t understand what kind of “creature” has just walked into the room, and internet users can’t cope with their reaction.

The hilarious TikTok clip, shared in February by the pups’ owner under the username @nelly.operera, shows the two brown pups gazing at a small dog sitting in the corner of the room, scared, hoping that the two bigger canines will leave him alone.

“When the dogs tried to process what kind of creature just walked in,” the caption says. “the silence was loud.”

The small “creature,” is a long-haired, small-breed dog, likely to be a Maltese, or a terrier, with matted gray fur, and overdue a good grooming session. The two Labrador retrievers are so shocked by the small pup that one of them has to have his mouth kept shut by his owner.

Grooming is an essential part of pet care that benefits both the dog and their owner. Veterinarians at Connaught House explain that starting the routine early helps pets get used to being handled, and fitting it into everyday life makes it easier to maintain.

Regular grooming also helps owners become familiar with their pet’s body, making it easier to spot any changes. Understanding the type of coat your animal has, along with its natural shedding patterns, helps determine how often grooming is needed and which tools are most suitable.

Grooming supports the health of the coat by clearing loose fur so new hair can grow properly. It prevents a build-up of grease and dead skin that can lead to blocked pores or cysts.

Frequent brushing also makes it easier to notice signs of illness, such as lumps or weight loss. Removing loose hair helps reduce allergens in the home and can aid in the physical removal of fleas and their debris.

Grooming keeps both the house and the pet cleaner, preventing mats that trap dirt and cause discomfort. It also strengthens the bond between pets and owners.

Even with professional groomers available, owners are encouraged to maintain regular grooming at home to help keep pets healthy and comfortable.

The video quickly went viral on social media and has so far received over 306,000 views and more than 57,000 likes on the platform.

One user, Scarlett, commented: “They’re judging so hard omg [oh my God].”

Kiana_2300 wrote: “The way you’re holding his mouth makes me giggle.”

Sheluvbray said: “Ok but I’m still curious, what kind of creature is this [for real]?”
