For young people, a lasting relationship is one where each person feels loved, has space to grow, knows how to share responsibilities, overcomes disagreements together, and matures along the journey of love.

Lasting love begins with little things.

Tran My Y (24 years old), living in Frankfurt, Germany, shared the happy news of her marriage after a four-year long-distance relationship that began during her university years. At that time, her boyfriend lived in Germany, while she studied in Ho Chi Minh City.

The geographical distance and time zone difference made it difficult for them to share everyday stories. Meeting only during Tet (Lunar New Year) each year, My Y sometimes felt lonely, leading to arguments and several breakups followed by reconciliations.

"Long-distance relationships aren't easy, but after each argument, we understand each other better. He takes the initiative to apologize, I learn to forgive, and we both lower our egos, trust each other, and nurture the relationship," My Y shared.
