The 2026 Korean Traditional Music Overseas Course took place over 10 days at the Arirang Hall of the Korean Cultural Center in Abu Dhabi, organized by the Korean Cultural Center in the UAE in collaboration with the National Gugak Center of Korea.
As part of the course, students are introduced to gugak – the general term for traditional Korean music – through learning basic rhythms, performance techniques, and how to coordinate between members.
